Katie Wright

Katie Wright has extensive experience in course materials procurement and retail operations, currently serving as a Purchasing Agent at Slingshot since February 2018. In previous roles at Slingshot, Wright excelled as a Retail Operations and Support Specialist and Store Manager, managing support channels, project management, and daily operations. Prior to Slingshot, Wright was an Assistant Store Manager and Sales Specialist at Texas Book Company and Macy's, respectively, where responsibilities included inventory management, driving sales, and providing customer service. Wright began a career in retail as a Sales Associate at Texas Book Company and contributed to fundraising efforts for Oklahoma Christian University's General Scholarship Fund. Wright holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Oklahoma Christian University.
