Kyle Heck

Kyle Heck is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Slingshot Aerospace since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bright Health as a Principal Software Engineer from January 2020 to April 2022. In this role, they developed Scala Spark jobs and event-driven C# .NET Core services. From 2013 to 2019, Kyle worked at athenahealth, starting as a Software Developer and progressing to Senior Software Developer, Staff Software Developer, and Principle Member of Technical Staff (Lead Developer). During their time at athenahealth, they led teams and developed various products and integration systems. Before that, Kyle worked at IBM as a Level 2 Software Support Engineer from 2011 to 2013, providing support for Tivoli Workload Scheduler. Kyle also worked as a Student Co-op at IBM from 2009 to 2011, developing scripts for data collection and metrics reporting.

Kyle Heck attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2006 to 2011, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
