Simon Brooks

Simon Brooks is an Energy Engineer at Slipstream since June 2023, focusing on reducing energy usage in commercial new construction buildings through energy modeling and building science expertise. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from January 2021 to September 2023, where research centered on improving dual-axis coupled heliostat reflectors for concentrated solar power. Earlier roles include an Energy Intern at Slipstream and an internship at Primordial Soup, an engineering firm specializing in biomedical devices. Simon holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy Sustainability from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned in May 2023.
