Michael Johnson-Henry began their work experience as a student at St. Georges Technical High School from 2009 to 2013. Michael then served as a Co-Op IT Department Intern for the New Castle County Vocational Technical School District from June 2012 to June 2013. In 2015, they worked as an IT Support Specialist for the University of Hartford Information Technology Services, troubleshooting hardware and software issues for staff, students, and the community. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Fulfillment Associate at Amazon. In 2020, they joined CSC as an Enterprise Desktop Services Intern, providing IT support to customers both in-person and remotely. In 2021, they served as a Full Stack Android Developer in Cognixia's JUMP program. Michael then worked at Amazon as a Problem Solver from March to September 2022. Currently, they are a Service Desk Analyst at Slipstream IT, starting in May 2022.
Michael Johnson-Henry attended the University of Hartford from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications in various areas of programming and web development. These include certifications in Python for Beginners, Responsive Web Design, Web Development Fundamentals, jQuery, Kotlin, React + Redux, Digitial Skills: User Experience, CSS/CSS3, HTML5, Javascript/ES6, SQL, and Responsive Web Design. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as Sololearn, FutureLearn, and freeCodeCamp between 2021 and 2022.
