Steve Choryan

Steve Choryan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mechanical design and photography. Currently serving as a Senior Designer at SLPT Global Pump Group since October 2013, Steve specializes in designing oil pumps using advanced software such as NX, Catia v5, and Pro-E, while also creating engineering drawings and test fixtures. Prior to this role, Steve held positions as a Senior Powertrain Designer at IAV Automotive Engineering and FEV, and as a Senior Designer at Eaton Aerospace, where responsibilities included designing hydraulic systems and components. In addition to engineering, Steve has established a successful career in photography, focusing on automotive, landscape, and event photography, with notable projects and features in publications such as Jalopnik and Dupont Registry. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Henry Ford College.
