Benny Bermudez

Benny Bermudez has been working in the design and development industry since 1998. From 1998 to 2007, they were the Brand Manager, Graphic Designer, and Team Manager at Shorty's Inc. From 2007 to 2008, they were the Marketing, Web Designer, and Experience Manager at Lowrider Cab Company. During this same time, they also began their own freelance business, Benny Bermudez Web and Graphic Design. From 2008 to 2010, they were the Graphic Designer, Webmaster, and Brand Developer at J7 Surfboards. From 2010 to 2017, they were the Designer Developer, Business & Operations Manager, and Partner at SLTWTR Creative Agency. Since 2017, they have been the UX & UI Design Lead at Carpe Data.

Benny Bermudez attended Santa Barbara City College from 2000 to 2001, studying Marketing. Benny obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in June 2015, an Essentials of User Experience Design certification from Thinkful in February 2017, and a Frontend Web Development certification from Thinkful in August 2014.
