Henrik Persson

Henrik Persson is a distinguished Senior Researcher at Skogforsk since January 2023, specializing in digitalization, remote sensing, planning, and analytics. Additionally, Henrik is the Founder of Geoanalysis Sweden AB, established in December 2016, focusing on excellence in remote sensing and Earth observation methodologies. As an Associate Professor at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences since September 2011, Henrik has led scientific research projects, managed international collaborations, developed algorithms, and published extensively. Henrik’s academic journey includes a PhD in Remote Sensing of Forest from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and previous roles in IT consulting and system administration, underscored by a strong foundation in remote sensing techniques and data analysis.
