Dr.-Ing. Ahmed Elbaz

Dr.-Ing. Ahmed Elbaz is an experienced EPC Project Manager for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at SMA Altenso GmbH since June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Universität Kassel from February 2017 to March 2022, where Dr. Elbaz developed project management skills, supervised two courses, and participated in three research projects focused on optimizing infrastructure projects in Germany. Additional roles include Civil Engineer specializing in Value Engineering at ZECH Hochbau AG, Project Manager at AFAK Real Estate, and Civil Engineer in the Egyptian Army. Dr. Elbaz holds a PhD in Project Management of Infrastructure Projects from the University of Kassel, along with a Master of Engineering from Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart and a Postgraduate Degree in Utility Engineering from Zagazig University, where a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management was also obtained.
