Hugo Campelo Barbosa

Hugo Campelo Barbosa is an engineer currently working at SM&A Sistemas Elétricos e Automação since June 2023, with prior experience at Automalógica from June 2020 to June 2023, where roles included engineer, system specialist, and senior system analyst. Previous positions also include involvement in a research group focused on electrical power systems at GPRAS from June 2019 to January 2021, and serving as a discipline monitor in electrical machines at Universidade Federal de Itajubá in late 2018. Hugo began their career as a programmer and designer for Mountainbaja from September 2016 to August 2018, where responsibilities encompassed developing systems for instrumentation data processing for a BAJA vehicle using ESP32 microcontrollers. Hugo holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Itajubá and is currently pursuing an MBA at USP/Esalq, starting October 2024.
