Aaron Hilger

Aaron Hilger serves as the Chief Executive Officer of SMACNA since December 2021, representing an international trade association for 3,500 contractor firms in the sheet metal and air conditioning industry. Prior to this role, Hilger was the Executive Director of SMACNA - New York State, and Managing Director of both SMACNA Rochester and the Construction Industry Association of Rochester, where responsibilities included labor negotiations and representing member interests. Hilger's career also includes serving as Vice President/COO at McGongile & Hilger and holding positions such as Executive Director for the Greater Buffalo Roofing and Sheetmetal Contractors Association and Government Relations Assistant for the National Roofing Contractors Association. Education includes an MBA from the University at Buffalo, a MA in Political Management from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science & Psychology from the University of Rochester.
