Scott Jack has been working in the technology field since 2010. Scott began their career as a Linux Administrator at KBS in 2010, where they developed and executed scripts to update hourly on Linux computers using Crontab, installed and maintained services like fail2ban, Network manager, and other software, and upgraded lab to Centos 7, deploying with Clonezilla. In 2013, they joined Small Planet Digital as a Sr DevOps Engineer, where they were involved in Dev Ops migration/automation processes for build and deploy systems, worked with SVN and GIT version controls, troubleshot high transaction web applications and environmental issues, set up new development branches, merged branches, facilitated releases, created Python scripts for GIT Pre-push and SVN Commit hooks, wrote Maven scripts, installed Jenkins, and wrote shell scripts for end to end build and deployment automation.
Scott Jack received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from California Career School. Scott then went on to pursue a Masters in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2014.
