Bret Bastain

Bret Bastain is an experienced professional in the building and construction industry, currently serving as the Building Envelope Specialist Lead at Smalley & Company since July 2021. Prior roles include Architectural Specifications & National Accounts for the Pacific West Region at Parex USA, Inc., and Western Commercial Sales Manager at TEX-COTE® | Textured Coatings of America, Inc. Throughout a career that began in 1998, Bret has held various sales and account management positions at renowned companies, including PPG Industries and AkzoNobel Decorative Coatings. Educationally, Bret holds a B.S. in Biology from California State University, Long Beach, and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara, among other academic pursuits.
