Alessandro Alati

Alessandro Alati has been working as a Machine Learning Engineer at SmallSpark Space Systems since 2022. Prior to this, they were a PhD Researcher in Numerical Modelling of Multiphase Flows at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2018. Their role included generating and analyzing images with OpenCv and Blender, as well as implementing Convolutional Neural Network and Generative Adversairal Networks deep learning algorithms to obtain super resolved images.

Alessandro Alati attended Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna from 2011 to 2016, where they earned an MSc in Energy Engineering. Alessandro also participated in the SARA (Safe Application of Radiation and Radionuclides) Erasmus Intensive Programme, and attended Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna without earning a degree. In 2018, they obtained an IELTS score of 6.5 from the British Council.
