Philippe Rousset, CPA (Aus), has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Philippe is currently the Group Chief Financial Officer at Smardt Chiller Group Inc. since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the CFO APAC at Socomec Group from 2018 to February 2023. Before that, Philippe was the Founder & Director of SHAFT Ph Consulting, a corporate services provider, from 2017 to August 2021. Philippe also worked as the CFO - Asia Pacific, Projects & Engineering Network at Veolia Water Technologies from 2013 to 2017, and as the Group Financial Controller from 2009 to 2013. Philippe's career includes roles as the Admin & Finance Manager at Saipem from 2006 to 2009, Industrial Cost Controller at CNH Industrial from 2000 to 2001, and Procurement Controller at Arkema from 1997 to 1998.

Philippe Rousset, CPA (Aus), has a diverse education history with qualifications in various fields. Philippe began their education at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Physics & Chemical Process Technology from 1995 to 1997. Following this, they attended the Toulouse School of Management from 1997 to 1998, earning a Master's degree in Business Administration and Finance.

In 2012, Philippe continued their education at Imperial College London, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Sustainable Management, which they completed in 2018. During this time, they gained expertise in managing sustainability-related issues in organizations.

In 2017, Philippe enrolled in the CPA Australia Program, which they completed in 2019. This program allowed him to become a Certified Practising Accountant, equipping him with the necessary skills and knowledge in accounting and financial management.

Recently, Philippe undertook further education at the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA) in an unspecified start year and completed in 2021. Philippe focused on becoming an International Mergers & Acquisition Expert (IM&A), studying various aspects of the M&A process, strategy, deal types, due diligence, valuation, and best practices for post-merger integration.
