Leander Lesure

Leander LeSure has a diverse work experience in various leadership positions focused on people, diversity, and human resources. In their current role as the Chief People and Diversity Officer at Smarsh, they assist companies in managing communications compliance. LeSure also serves as an advisory board member at The Happiness Index, helping organizations measure and improve employee engagement. Previously, they held the positions of Chief People Officer at Year Up and StockX, and as CEO Advisor for Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity at Western Union. They also served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Herman Miller and Getty Images, overseeing global HR functions and providing strategic solutions. Prior to that, LeSure held leadership roles in HR at Western Union, American Express, and Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc.

Leander LeSure received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Relations from Northern Kentucky University in 1992. From 1993 to 1995, LeSure pursued a Masters degree in Human Resources and ILR from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
