Sotheary Kong

Sotheary Kong is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and management. Currently serving as Head of Corporate Finance at Smart Axiata since December 2021, Sotheary has previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Golden Tree Group Co., Ltd from March 2020 to November 2021. Additional experience includes an analyst internship at Eternal Asset Management and a live project at HealthChase in July 2019. Prior to these roles, Sotheary acted as the Credit Assessment/Credit Planning Manager at AEON Specialized Bank (Cambodia) Plc. and accumulated significant experience at ANZ in various capacities, including Research Analyst and Team Leader in Lending Processing. Sotheary's academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Professional Accounting from RMIT University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics Development from the Royal University of Law and Economics, along with ongoing studies in the CPA Australia Program.
