Chayanath Lingala

Chayanath Lingala has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering. Chayanath is currently working as a Lead Data Engineer at Smart Data Foundry since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Data Engineer at Capco starting from August 2020.

Before their role at Capco, Chayanath worked extensively at Avis Budget Group as a Senior Data Engineer from August 2019 to August 2020. During their tenure, they were responsible for creating data platforms and building cloud solutions for ingesting, processing, and loading both batch and streaming data from on-premise into Data Lake/cloud. Chayanath worked on various technologies such as Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, KStreams, Schema Registry, Informatica Data Engineering Integration, Data Engineering Streaming, Spark, and Hive. Chayanath also performed data cleansing, data modeling, and optimization tasks.

Prior to Avis Budget Group, Chayanath served as a Senior Data Engineer at Legal & General from February 2014 to July 2019. Chayanath gained experience in end-to-end data flow, including ingestion, processing, and reporting.

Earlier in their career, Chayanath worked at KPMG US as a Technical Lead from July 2010 to February 2014. Chayanath also had roles at Cisco, where they served as a Technology Analyst from January 2009 to July 2010, and as a Software Engineer from March 2006 to December 2008.

Overall, Chayanath Lingala has demonstrated expertise in data engineering, cloud solutions, data platforms, data cleansing, ETL mapping, performance tuning, and various technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Hive, and Informatica.

Chayanath Lingala holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. In addition, Chayanath Lingala has obtained a certification in Data Science Foundations - Level 2 (V2) from IBM in June 2018.
