Magdalena Getler has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Magdalena currently works at Smart Data Foundry, a fintech startup, where they hold the role of Head of Research Facility. Magdalena Getler started their education in 1997 and completed their MA degree in Sociology from the University of Lodz in 2002. In 2004, they attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, specifically their Division of Continuing Education, for a year. In 2006, they pursued an MSc degree in Information Management and Digital Preservation from the University of Glasgow, which they completed in 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Magdalena also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they became a UXQB Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience, awarded by iSQI. In 2017, they obtained the ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
