Chun Chen

Chun Chen currently serves as the Design Authority at Smart DCC, a position held since July 2018, while also acting as Director at smart reach since October 2015. Previous experience includes roles as Design Assurance Lead and smart metering specialist for DCC, Solution Architect for SSE, and consultant for various companies such as Holley Metering and MeterSit. Prior positions include Smart Meter Specialist at Smart DCC and R&D Manager at Landis+Gyr. Notably, Chun Chen spent over 17 years at Itron as the UK R&D Firmware Team Leader, focusing on smart metering, smart grids, and IoT technologies. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School and a BSc in Electric Engineering from Tianjin University.
