Joe Wong

Joe Wong has extensive experience in UNIX systems administration, currently serving as a Senior UNIX Systems Administrator at Smart and Final since July 2006. From 2014 to 2017, Joe led a team of two system administrators while managing responsibilities related to the creation, installation, and support of over 150 Power7 and Power8 Logical Partitions. Prior experience includes working as a Control-M Administrator at Sony Pictures Entertainment, where Joe installed and configured BMC Control-M and provided on-call support. Joe began a career in systems administration at Safeway, handling operating systems installation, performance tuning, and providing guidance to operational staff. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.
