Kanu Priya Jain

Kanu Priya Jain is a seasoned professional in the maritime industry with extensive experience in technical management, research, and engineering. Currently serving as Technical Manager for Clean Cargo at Smart Freight Centre since June 2023, Kanu previously held the role of Research Officer at the Green Award Foundation from August 2018 to May 2023. Earlier, Kanu was a Business Coordinator at GMS, Inc., overseeing the Responsible Ship Recycling Program, and completed a PhD at TU Delft focusing on green ship recycling. Kanu’s foundational engineering experience includes positions as Third and Fourth Engineer at Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement, where significant contributions were made to machinery maintenance and operations. Kanu holds advanced degrees in Maritime Technology and Marine Transport, complemented by a solid background in Marine Engineering.
