Darren Philp

Darren is well known for his work lobbying for change in pensions and financial services. He joined Smart Pension in 2018 after working on policy at The People’s Pension, the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association (PLSA) and HM Treasury, where he helped to develop the architecture of the UK’s flagship auto enrollment initiative. Darren is actively involved with the PLSA, the Association of British Insurers (ABI), the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) and the Pensions Administration Standards Association (PASA). He is a trustee and governor of the independent Pensions Policy Institute (PPI).
