Peter Vanovertveld

Peter Vanovertveld has an extensive work experience spanning different industries and roles. Peter is currently working at Smart Reporting GmbH as the Co-Chief Executive Officer since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Commercial Officer & Chief Operations Officer at the same company starting from January 2022.

Before joining Smart Reporting GmbH, Peter worked at Vifor Pharma from 2017 to 2021. During their time at Vifor Pharma, they served as the SVP, Head of Global Pricing & Market Access from October 2017 to December 2021. Additionally, they held the position of interim Head of Iron Deficiency Franchise from January 2019 to September 2019, where they focused on redefining the brand strategy and achieving blockbuster status.

Peter also has experience working at Shire as VP, Head of Value Strategy & Access, Hematology & Immunology from July 2016 to July 2017, and at Baxalta as VP, Head of Patient Access, Intercontinental from January 2015 to July 2016.

Their earlier roles include working at Baxter International Inc. as Global Head of Market Access, BioScience from May 2013 to June 2015, Director, Market Access, EMEA from May 2011 to April 2013, Director Communications, Government Affairs & Public Policy, Western Europe from January 2010 to April 2011, and Director Government Affairs & Public Policy, Western Europe from November 2007 to December 2009.

Peter's career started at Interel Public Relations & Public Affairs, where they worked as an Associate Director from January 2006 to October 2007 and as a Senior Consultant from May 2003 to December 2005. Peter also gained experience as a Consultant at Fleishman-Hillard from July 2001 to April 2003.

Furthermore, Peter worked as a Research Assistant at the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) from August 2000 to June 2001, and as an Information Officer and Information Clerk at the United Nations in 2000 and 1999 respectively.
