Diogo Martins

Diogo Martins has a range of work experience in the robotics and computer vision field. Diogo worked as a Robotics Engineer for Smart Robotics, where they focused on creating and managing Computer Vision and Machine Learning roadmaps. Diogo also developed code for use by other teams in the company. In the Item Picking Team, Diogo worked on robotic applications in the logistics sector, including projects for BOL, NEXT, and Vanderlande Industries.

Prior to their role at Smart Robotics, Diogo was a Computer Vision Software Developer at studio diip, where they led projects using computer vision across various industries. Diogo also had an internship at Bird Control Group, where they contributed to the development of a Bird Detection System.

Additionally, Diogo was a part-time team member at Eco-Runner Team Delft, where they designed a new speed sensor and implemented circuits for data collection in a car. Diogo also completed a summer internship at CEiiA, where they gained further engineering experience.

Diogo Martins completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1997 to 2012, they attended Colégio Valsassina where they studied Sciences and Technologies. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Aerospace Engineering from 2012 to 2015 at Instituto Superior Técnico. Finally, from 2015 to 2017, they enrolled at Delft University of Technology where they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in Control and Simulation.
