Ulysses Melgar

Ulysses Melgar is an experienced safety professional with a solid background in occupational safety and health. Currently serving as an Account Manager at SMART Safety Group since April 2024, Ulysses influences and supports general contractors and subcontractors in enhancing their safety culture. Previously, Ulysses held the position of Safety Manager at LEMOINE from July 2022 to April 2024 and served as Safety Director at both Kent Design Build, Inc. and Durr Heavy Construction, LLC, from April 2021 to April 2022 and May 2015 to March 2021, respectively. Ulysses holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from Columbia Southern University and an Associate's degree in the same field from Delgado Community College.
