Duane Bernt

Duane Bernt is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and financial management. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Smart USA Co since May 2022, Duane also holds the position of President and Chief Financial Officer at Stadion Money Management since September 2011. In addition, Duane serves as Board Chair for Family Promise of Athens since January 2019. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at Lincoln Financial Group from 1992 to 2011, where responsibilities encompassed CFO & Head of Strategy for Retirement Plan Services, Corporate Treasurer, and Head of Product & Marketing for Lincoln Financial Distributors. Duane Bernt earned an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School (2003-2005) and a BS in Math/Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1988-1992).
