Amit Biyani

Amit Biyani has a diverse range of work experience, spanning over several years in various roles.

Amit is currently the Founder of SmartAxiom Inc, where they have been since 2015. In this role, they have developed a Blockchain-based decentralized security software solution for IoT devices, providing customers with integrated, secure, scalable, and inter-operable edge intelligence and analytics. Amit also ensures comprehensive security across systems and networks.

Prior to founding SmartAxiom Inc, Amit worked as a Sr Solution Architect and Product Lead at Silver Lining Systems from 2014 to 2015. Here, they were responsible for architecting and leading various solutions.

From 2008 to 2014, Amit worked at Broadcom as the DirecTV Solution Lead. In this role, they led a cross-functional team in providing server-to-device solutions for DirecTV, working closely with DirecTV management to manage existing products and gather information for future requirements.

Before Broadcom, Amit held the position of Senior Solution Architect for Settop Box System at Motorola from 2007 to 2008. Here, they designed and developed hardware abstraction layers and device drivers for different sections of the SOC.

Prior to Motorola, Amit worked at DIRECTV as a Senior Architect and Embedded Engineer from 2006 to 2007. Amit wrote board bring-up code, developed boot loader software, and ported real-time kernels.

Earlier in their career, Amit worked at Intel as a Senior System/Embedded Engineer from 2005 to 2006. Amit was responsible for designing and developing firmware for advanced audio and video DSP processors.

Amit also worked at Clique Communication as a Senior Software Engineer and later as the Project Lead Engineer/Senior Media Engineer from 2001 to 2005. Here, they designed and developed media frameworks, optimized code, and led a team in audio, video encoding, and multimedia streaming.

Lastly, Amit worked at Eyecast as a Software Engineer from 2000 to 2001.

Overall, Amit has a strong background in IoT security, solution architecture, product development, and firmware design across various industries and companies.

Amit Biyani completed their education in a chronological order. Amit attended Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Maths/Computer Science. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya and completed their studies in 1999, specializing in Information System. Lastly, Amit attended UC Irvine from 2010 to 2012, earning a degree in Embedded Engineering. Their studies at UC Irvine focused on embedded hardware and software design and development.
