Fitz Nowlan

Fitz Nowlan is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and management roles. Currently serving as VP of AI and Architecture at SmartBear since January 2024, Fitz previously held the position of Director of Engineering at Reflect, a SmartBear Company, from September 2019 to January 2024. Prior to that, Fitz co-founded Reflect and contributed to Curalate from May 2014 to September 2019 in various engineering management roles. Fitz's earlier career includes positions at Google as a Software Engineering Intern and at Microsoft as an SDE Intern. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Georgetown University.
