Michael D. Friedman

Michael D. Friedman's work experience includes a variety of roles in business development, sales, lending operations, and management. Michael D. began their career at the San Francisco Electric Tour Company as an Assistant Manager and Tour Guide, where they played a crucial role in building the business and providing guided tours to top companies in the Bay Area. Michael D. then worked as an English Instructor at Expert European Linguistics, teaching lessons to students aged 6-14 in multiple locations in Austria.

Friedman joined Wells Fargo in 2008 and held various roles in branch management. As a front-line sales manager, they coached their team to provide excellent client experiences and grow relationships in the banking, lending, and investment sectors. Michael D. also nurtured over 100 business relationships as a trained business banker.

Since 2014, Friedman has been with SmartBiz Loans, starting as a Relationship Manager and achieving records for revenue production and fast closings. Michael D. later became a Manager in Lending Operations, leading the expansion and management of the lending and sales team. As a Senior Manager, they successfully led the bifurcation of sales and lending operations and grew the team to 15 representatives. Currently, they are focused on business development, prospecting, developing, and growing partnerships with ISO's and lending industry COI's.

Throughout their career, Friedman has demonstrated strong leadership skills, recruiting and training new managers, and driving revenue growth through data-driven evaluations and sales management. Michael D. has a proven track record of success in customer relations, team building, and business development.

Michael D. Friedman earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs, focusing on the Middle East and Asia, from San Francisco State University. Michael D. attended the university from 2010 to 2012. Before their college education, Michael obtained a high school diploma from Branham High School in San Jose, CA. In addition to their formal education, Michael also obtained a certification as a Notary Public from the State of California in December 2013.
