Sam Tharp

Sam Tharp has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. They started their career as an SBA Lending Intern at The Bank of Missouri, where they gained in-depth knowledge of SBA lending policies and procedures. They then moved on to UMB Bank, where they worked as a Commercial Credit Analyst and later as a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst, focusing on larger and more complex loans. At UMB Bank, they also trained newly hired Credit Analysts and ensured the quality and completeness of their work. Sam then took a break from employment to travel before joining SmartBiz Loans as an Application Support Specialist (Contractor). They currently work at SmartBiz Loans as a Credit & Quality Control Analyst.

Sam Tharp earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia, studying from 2009 to 2014.
