Rex Sun

Rex Sun is a Senior System/Software Engineer at SmartBrief since September 2015, where responsibilities include leading the system engineering team in task assignments and release planning to ensure timely delivery schedules, as well as designing and implementing new features for a web-based application backend using Java, applying Test Driven Development methodologies. Additionally, Rex has been a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore since August 2008 and holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine and Immunology from the same institution. Rex also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, completed between 2002 and 2004.
