Neville Farrugia has extensive work experience as a firmware and hardware developer. Neville started their career as a Firmware and Hardware Developer at Remote Monitoring and Control Systems Ltd. in 2006, where they coded firmware for electronic products and designed electronic circuitry. Neville then worked at Charonite as a Software Developer, where they focused on coding computer vision algorithms and researching new technologies for traffic management systems.
After that, Neville joined GFI Software as a Software Developer, where they maintained and added new features to GFI FaxMaker and researched performance improvements. Neville then moved to Seifert mtm Systems as an R&D Engineer, responsible for coding firmware, designing circuit boards, and developing applications.
More recently, Neville worked at Intermodal Telematics BV as a Senior Firmware and Hardware Developer and at SmartCow as a Senior Firmware Engineer. These roles focused on firmware development and utilized their expertise in coding and designing electronic products.
Throughout their career, Neville has gained proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, and assembly. Neville is experienced in using tools like Altium, Proteus, OpenCV, and CUDA.
Neville Farrugia pursued their education at Goldsmiths, University of London from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing and Information Systems. Prior to that, they attended MCAST from 2001 to 2005 and achieved a Diploma in Industrial Electronics.
