Sumesh Velayudhan

Sumesh Velayudhan has a strong background in operations and management, with experience in various leadership roles. Sumesh is currently the Vice President of Operations at smarteeva since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director at Zaportiv Consulting LLC starting in August 2022.

From 2015 to 2022, Sumesh worked at Capgemini, where they held the position of Director. Sumesh served as the Director of SharePoint & O365 Leader at Sogeti Business Unit from January 2015 to June 2018, and later became the Director, responsible for various projects from June 2018 to August 2022.

Before their time at Capgemini, Sumesh was at Trianz as the Practice Lead - Microsoft from November 2013 to December 2014. Sumesh managed a team and was accountable for global project delivery across multiple accounts, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.

Prior to Trianz, Sumesh worked at Cognizant as a Senior Manager from November 2007 to October 2013. Sumesh started their career at Satyam Computers Limited as a Project Manager from February 2004 to October 2007. Earlier on, they were an Assistant Project Manager at Auriga Technologies from March 2002 to December 2004. Sumesh began their career as a Senior Developer at Netgalactic Internet Solutions from August 2000 to March 2002.

Sumesh Velayudhan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communication from Bangalore University in the years 1995 to 1999. In addition, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI in December 2004 and a Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in September 2021.
