Varun Malkani

Varun Malkani has a wealth of work experience in various industries. In 2018, they were the Head of Business- ANZ, Global Sales, and Head of Business Development- India at Smarten Spaces, a Singapore based Proptech company. In this role, they were responsible for setting up the business in Mumbai. Varun was also the Head of the global launch team, responsible for launching the company's first global SaaS product in Singapore, India and the United States. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at JLL as an Industrial Analyst, responsible for creating and updating asset registers, studying and monitoring key industrial-centric funds, and creating monthly market overviews for institutional clients. In 2015, they worked at KPMG as a Debt Advisory Analyst. In 2014, they were a Private Equity Intern at Everstone Investment Advisors, where they worked on setting up Harry's Pub in India and conducted research and suggested Harry's brand positioning. In 2013, they were a Sales and Marketing Intern at Emerson Process Management.

Varun Malkani completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at S P Jain School of Global Management, majoring in Marketing and minoring in Finance from 2012 to 2016. During 2015 and 2016, they were a Bloomberg Institute, BAT Campus Ambassador, focusing on Marketing and Finance. Prior to that, they attended Delhi Public School, New Delhi (Vasant Kunj) from 1997 to 2012.
