Bang Nguyen

Bang Nguyen has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the technology industry. Bang started their career as a Software Engineer at Abeona Networks Inc., where they designed and implemented automation frameworks and tools, achieving a 90% automation coverage. Bang then worked as a Sr. Software QA Engineer at Sony Electronics, where they established QA processes and test methodologies for Sony Play Stations, with a focus on automation and achieving high test coverage.

Bang then joined Intel Corporation, where they held multiple roles, including Sr. Cross Products Validation Lead and Intel MSL Lab Manager. In these roles, they established test scopes and priorities, optimized cross validation processes, and developed and executed test automation to reduce manual testing efforts. Bang also led and managed various projects, ensuring on-time or early delivery and efficiently handling bug reports.

After their time at Intel, Bang worked as a Network Security Self-Consultant, providing their expertise in designing IT security architectures, conducting vulnerability testing and risk analysis, and implementing security solutions for clients. Most recently, they worked as a System Test Manager at W-tec, where they established a strong QA infrastructure and resolved product security vulnerabilities for complex embedded smart lighting systems.

Bang Nguyen completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Ottawa in 2000. Prior to that, they pursued an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Electro-Mechanical Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. Additionally, they also studied Electronics and Mechanical Engineering at the same institution, although the year of completion is not specified.
