Ivy Nicolas

Ivy Nicolas is an experienced editor currently working at Smarter Good, Inc. since December 2021, where editing and writing support is provided in crafting grant proposals, reports, and creative content for nonprofits and social enterprises. Previously, Ivy served as the Head of the Digital Experience Lab at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde from February 2011 to August 2020, leading digital product development and front-end digital capability training, along with overseeing the implementation of the corporate website and digital channels. Ivy also took on significant roles in digital transformation and creative communications, driving initiatives for improved customer experience and organizational efficiency. Prior experience includes editorial roles at The Philippine Star, where multi-faceted responsibilities encompassed writing and photojournalism, and teaching positions at multiple universities in literature, business communications, and creative writing. Ivy holds a BA in Literature from the University of Santo Tomas and an MA in Creative Writing from Silliman University.
