Max Easton has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Max started their career as a Waiter/Barman at Food and Fuel Ltd in 2011. In 2013, they worked as a Summer Intern at Bregal Sagemount. Max then co-founded Willie's Superbrew in 2014 and served as the Co-CEO, successfully scaling up the business and securing a $1.5 million investment. After four years, they left the company to pursue their career aspirations in Europe.
From 2018 to 2019, Max worked as an Investment/Business Development Manager for Dame Karen Jones, managing their personal investment portfolio. During this role, they prepared Josh Wood Colour for a $6.5 million investment raise.
In 2019, Max joined Active Partners as an Analyst, where they managed origination across various sectors and developed relationships with target companies.
In 2020, Max joined Fashion for Good as an Accelerator Programme Analyst and later became an Innovation Programme Associate. Max managed their Global Innovation Programme and Alumni Network, driving sustainable and social innovators forward in the fashion industry through pilot projects and mentorship.
Currently, Max is working at Smartex.ai as the Global Innovation Director. The company focuses on building essential tools for modern textile factories, such as AI-enabled automated quality control and data-driven communication platforms. Their goal is to upgrade the textile industry's supply chain to reduce environmental impact.
Max Easton attended St Paul's School from 2006 to 2011, where they completed their secondary education. In 2012, they enrolled at Brown University and pursued a degree in Political Science, completing it in 2016. During the same year, they also took a short course in Strategic Branding, Identity, and Brand Experience at the University of the Arts London. Additionally, in 2012, they briefly studied French Studies at CELSA Paris-Sorbonne.
