Carrie Pederson has an extensive professional background in business and education. Carrie began their career in 1999 as a Trade Specialist at the Washington State Trade Office Taiwan. In 2001, they became a Senior Commercial Officer at The Representative Office of British Columbia, Canada. In 2002, they founded and served as Executive Director of Language Canada, Taiwan, where they built an award-winning brand. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at Microsoft in various roles, including Strategy Lead and Worldwide Program and Marketing Manager. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Partner at FactorX, LLC. In 2013, they began teaching as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Washington, Michael G. Foster School of Business. Most recently, they have been the CEO and Co-Founder of SmartGames Ltd. since 2015.
Carrie Pederson obtained an MBA in Marketing and International Business from the University of Washington in 2008. Carrie had previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington in 1998, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Whitman College in 1997.
