Václav Jurčíček

Václav Jurčíček has had a long and varied career in business and consulting. Václav began their career in 2010 as an Independent Journalist for Economia, publishing articles in Czech newspapers and journals. In 2013, they joined L.E.K. Consulting as a Senior Management Consultant, delivering due diligence and market entry strategy for PE and investors from Brazil and the U.S. In 2014, they joined McKinsey & Company as a Consultant. In 2016, they took on two roles, Interim Chief Executive Officer for HardWood Capital s.r.o. and Consulting/Mentoring startups and Executives for Startup Wise Guys. In 2017, they were an External Senior Consultant for Stonehaven. In 2018, they were a Principal for Singular Group and Chief Business Development Officer for SmartGuide, where they defined and executed Business Development strategy globally and agreed on partnerships. Theircurrent role is Senior Management Consultant for Kearney, starting in 2022.

Václav Jurčíček obtained their high school degree from Gymnázium Sladkovského in 2001, with an emphasis on Mathematics and Physics. Václav then attended Czech Technical University in Prague from 2001 to 2008, where they earned a Master's Degree in Economics and Management of the Energy Systems. During this time, they also attended Prague University of Economics and Business, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Economics and Management. In 2006 and 2007, Václav Jurčíček completed a year abroad at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, studying Business Administration and Finance, as well as a year abroad at Union College, studying Finance and Business Administration. In 2014, they attended the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth for the Tuck Business Bridge Program. Additionally, Václav Jurčíček holds certifications in Technical English from Fachhochschule Frankfurt am Main, obtained in 2007; Kommunikationstraining Deutsch from Fachhochschule Frankfurt am Main, obtained in 2007; a Drivers licence A and B from the Czech Republic; and an Electro-technical qualification under decree No. 50/78 Coll. from the Czech Republic.
