Melissa Silva

Melissa Silva has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Melissa is currently working at SmartLabs as a Community Specialist since January 2023 and previously held the position of Community Associate from November 2021 to March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Bartender at Tavistock Restaurants LLC from March 2021 to March 2023. Melissa also has experience as an Assistant General Manager at Jm Curley from May 2019 to November 2021, and as a Bartender at COJE Management Group from September 2019 to February 2020.

Melissa has a long-standing tenure at Big Night Entertainment Group, where they worked as a Bartender from December 2012 to November 2019. Melissa also served as the Head Bartender at Whisky Saigon from June 2015 to June 2019. During their career, Melissa has gained experience as a Bartender at Cultivar Hospitality LLC from May 2017 to February 2018, and at Strega Italiano from June 2016 to May 2017.

Additionally, Melissa started their professional journey as a Temporary Assistant at Snelling Staffing from May 2005 to December 2012.

Melissa Silva graduated from East Boston High School in 2007 with a Diploma in Cinematography and Film/Video Production. In addition to their formal education, Melissa has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Melissa obtained their ServSafe Food Handler certification from ServSafe Certified in February 2020. In December 2020, they obtained the DOF Crowd Manager certification from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Melissa acquired the TIPS certification from eTIPS on Premise in August 2021. Melissa further enhanced their skills by obtaining several certifications from Triumvirate Environmental. In August 2022, they obtained the DOT HAZMAT certification, the RCRA Hazardous Waste Management certification, and the HAZWOPER (OSHA ER) certification from Triumvirate Environmental.
