Samir Pires is an experienced legal and compliance professional, currently serving as the Vice-President and Chief Legal & Compliance Officer at Zilia Technologies since October 2010, where responsibilities include overseeing all legal, regulatory, and compliance affairs in Brazil, government and public relations, as well as new business development and M&A activities. Pires has progressed through several roles in the organization, including Legal and Compliance Senior Director and Legal and Compliance Director. Prior experience includes positions at CJ do Brasil and Suzano Papel e Celulose, where duties involved managing legal affairs and government relations. Samir Pires holds numerous qualifications, including an MBA in Corporate Management and an Executive Development Program from Fundação Dom Cabral, along with various postgraduate degrees in business law and management. Currently enrolled in a Master of Economics program at IDP, Pires combines extensive legal expertise with strong business acumen.
