Amanda Chavez, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning several leadership roles in corporate communications. Amanda'scurrent position is as the Director of Corporate Communications at SmartRent, where they lead the company's corporate communications function, sets strategy for public relations, social media, and internal communications. Prior to joining SmartRent, Amanda served as the Director of Internal Communications at the University of Phoenix. In this role, they were responsible for all-employee and all-faculty communications, as well as overseeing employee engagement and listening strategies. Amanda also worked as a Communications Manager and Communications Specialist at the University of Phoenix. Before their time at the University of Phoenix, they worked at OneAZ Credit Union as a Senior Communications Specialist and Marketing and Communications Specialist. At OneAZ Credit Union, Amanda created various internal and public relations materials, managed media relationships, and oversaw all public relations efforts.

Amanda Chavez, MBA, received their Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix. Amanda attended the university from 2017 to 2021, focusing their studies on Business Administration and Management. Prior to their MBA, Amanda earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University - Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Amanda completed their undergraduate studies from 2009 to 2013, with a field of study in Public Relations/Image Management.
