Nate Jensen

Nate Jensen has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning from 1995 until the present. Nate started their career in 1995 as a Database Administrator at Waterford Institute and then moved on to become a Database Administrator at Netschools from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, they joined STSN as a Senior Database Architect, where they designed and administered databases for over 450 servers worldwide and conducted database migrations.

In 2001, Nate became a Senior Database Architect at Authorize.net, where they worked on the development of the Authorize.net payment gateway product and collaborated on a partnership with Well's Fargo. Later in 2001, they co-founded Geartrade and merged it with E3Vertical, assuming the position of VP of Technology. In this role, they directed the development of all software products offered by the company.

Nate's career continued with roles such as a Software Engineer at claredi from 2002 to 2005 and Co-Founder and CTO at ZenPrint from 2005 to 2015. During their time at ZenPrint, they played a key role in the company's founding and technological strategy.

From 2005 to 2007, Nate worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Costa Vida Management, where they oversaw the technology needs of the management company and led special projects such as the development of a Franchisee Portal and financial reporting implementation.

Most recently, Nate has been with SmartShyp since 2017, starting as a Technology Consultant and then being promoted to Vice President of Development in February 2018.

Nate Jensen attended Brigham Young University from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
