John Foster

John Foster possesses extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Development & Applied Technology at the Royal Canadian Mint since June 2014. Prior to this role, John has held multiple positions at SMART Technologies, including Program Manager overseeing high-tech collaboration products and New Product Introduction Engineer responsible for bringing new products to market. John's experience extends to 3M as a Product Engineer and Process Engineer, where notable contributions included leading cost reduction projects and improving production efficiencies. Additionally, John worked at John Deere as a Manufacturing Engineer and Welding Automation Engineer, managing production line implementations and robotic welding designs. Early career experience includes an engineering co-op at Honda of Canada Manufacturing. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University.
