Karin Harrington

Karin Harrington, SPHR has over 18 years of work experience in human resources. Karin is currently working as the Director of Human Resources at Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration Inc. (SME) since July 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Human Resources Manager at ANB Bank from September 2005 to July 2019. In this role, they supported the Mountain West Region and Non-Bank entities, including C-Suite Executives, in various HR functions such as change management, talent management, and compensation management. Before that, Karin worked as an HR Generalist at U.S. Bank from February 2001 to September 2005. In this position, they provided HR support to the Denver Metro Retail Banking business line. Karin advised management on employee relations issues and acted as a resource for team members on company policies and procedures.

Karin Harrington, SPHR holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Gonzaga University, which they obtained in 1999. Karin has also obtained additional certifications such as the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute in 2014 and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in 2015.
