Sherif Kamel

Sherif Kamel currently serves as Chair and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at AACSB, alongside membership on various boards including GBSN, the Central Bank of Egypt, and CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education. Kamel holds multiple advisory roles, including Advisory Board Member for Developing Leaders Quarterly and Advisory Council Member for the Middle East Institute - Egypt Program. In addition, Kamel is the President of AmCham Egypt and serves as an Independent Non-Executive Board Member for both SMG Engineering Automotive Company and SMG for Economic Development and Investments Co. Academically, Kamel earned a Ph.D. in Information Systems from The London School of Economics and Political Science, an M.B.A. in General Management, and a Master of Art in Islamic Art and Architecture from The American University in Cairo, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the same institution, complemented by early education at Cairo University and Collège de la Sainte Famille.
