Dr. Samuel Barnabas K

Dr. Samuel Barnabas K has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Samuel is currently the Head Analytical - Research and Development at Smilax Laboratories Limited since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Manager at Malladi Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Limited from September 2020 to December 2021. Dr. Samuel also served as a Group Lead at Solara Active Pharma Sciences from April 2018 to September 2020 and as a Senior Scientist at Sovizen life sciences from December 2017 to September 2020. Dr. Samuel has extensive research experience, having worked as a Research Scientist at Orchid Pharma from February 2005 to December 2017. Earlier in their career, they held positions as a Chemist at SGS Life Science from October 2004 to February 2005 and as a Quality Control Officer at Shasun Chemicals and Drugs Ltd from August 2002 to October 2004.

Dr. Samuel Barnabas K has an extensive education history in the field of chemistry. Dr. Samuel began their academic journey in 1995 when they attended GHSS PAUNDAMANGALAM, where they obtained their HSS degree. In 1997, they enrolled at the University of Madras, KKC VELUR, where they pursued a B.Sc degree in Chemistry, completing their studies in 2000.

Continuing their education, Dr. Samuel Barnabas K joined the University of Madras once again in 2000 and pursued an M.Sc degree in Analytical Chemistry, which they successfully completed in 2002.

Motivated by their passion for research and further specialization, they pursued an M.Phil degree in Chemistry at Bharathidasan University from 2007 to 2008.

Finally, Dr. Samuel Barnabas K enrolled in the University of Madras once more and embarked on a prestigious Doctor of Philosophy - PhD program in Analytical Chemistry in 2005. This program lasted until 2022, concluding with him earning their PhD in their chosen field of study.
