Peace Itimi

Peace Itimi has a diverse work experience that includes various roles in marketing, mentorship, and leadership. Currently, they serve as the Director of Marketing at Smile Identity, where they manage a team of 4 and oversees brand, product marketing, content marketing, events, and developer relations. Prior to this role, Peace worked as a Venture Partner at HoaQ and as the Founder & Host of the Founders Connect Show. Peace has also served as an Angel Squad Member at Hustle Fund and as a Board Member at EdoInnovates. Additionally, Peace has worked as a Consultant (Growth & People) at Africhange and as the Head of Growth at Hover Developer Services, Inc. where they played a key role in building an offline super-app for Africans. Peace has also worked at Seedstars, where they held multiple positions including Growth Mentor, Global Growth Marketing Manager, and Growth Lead, Africa. In these roles, Peace led growth marketing strategies, optimized conversions, and analyzed data for actionable insights. Earlier in their career, Peace served as the Head of Marketing at Korapay and as a Digital Marketing Trainer at Haptics Nigeria.

Peace Itimi's education history is as follows:

In 2005-2011, Peace attended the University of Benin Demonstration Secondary School, where they obtained their O'levels in Science/Social Science.

From 2011-2015, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Medical Biochemistry at Delta State University.

In 2016, Peace completed a Diploma in Management Information Science at Complete Computers and Technology (CCT), Benin.

In 2018, they obtained two certifications from the Digital Marketing Institute: Certified Digital Marketing Professional and Certified Digital Marketing Specialist - Strategy & Planning.

In 2018, Peace also attended the Digital Marketing Institute to become a Certified Trainer in Digital Marketing.

In 2019-2020, they underwent training at AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management and became a Certified Product Marketing Manager.

In terms of additional certifications, in 2016 Peace obtained the Microsoft Certificate of Achievement - Microsoft Office 2010.

In 2017, they completed two courses, "Design Driven Entrepreneurship" and "Workforce Collaboration and Development," at the YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa.

In 2017, Peace also obtained the Online Marketing Fundamentals Proficiency certification from Google.

In 2016, they became AdWords Search and AdWords Display Certified by Google.

In 2017, Peace obtained the Inbound Marketing Certified, Content Marketing Certified, and Inbound Sales Certified certifications through HubSpot Academy.

In 2018, they became a Facebook Certified Planning Professional through Facebook Blueprint.

In 2019, Peace obtained the Facebook Certified Digital Marketing Associate certification from Facebook Blueprint.

Finally, in 2021, they achieved the AML FOUNDATIONS (V3) certification from ACAMS.
