Rafa Garcia Gonzalez

Rafa Garcia Gonzalez has an extensive work experience, starting with an internship at OEM Automation & Solutions in 2012. Rafa then worked as a Product Marketing Support at Schneider Electric from October 2012 to October 2013. After that, they served as a Best in class products Business Development Manager from October 2013 to October 2018. From October 2018 to January 2020, they held the role of Industry Business Development Manager for Iberian Zone at Schneider Electric, reporting directly to the Vice President of Industry. From January 2020 to September 2023, they were the Head of Industry Product Marketing & Business Development - Iberian Zone at Schneider Electric, responsible for managing the P&L, leading a team, and creating and implementing go-to-market strategies. Currently, they are the Marketing Director at SMILICS Technologies.

Rafa Garcia Gonzalez has a diverse education history. In 2008, they graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, specializing in Electrical Machines. In 2013, they completed a Postgraduate degree in Marketing and Sales from EUNCET, focusing on Marketing and Marketing Management. Recently, Rafa attended INSEAD, completing the Transforming Leadership: TSL4 program in the field of Organizational Leadership. Rafa is currently pursuing the Marketing of the Future Programme at INSEAD, set to finish in 2022.
