Rens Koene

Rens Koene has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Controller Reporting and Consolidation at Smit Lamnalco since October 2012, following a role as Senior Accountant at the same company. Prior to this, Rens held the position of Senior Accountant at Smit International from February 2011 to September 2012, overseeing the financial close process for multiple contracts. As an Interim Finance Professional at TriFinance from September 2008 to January 2011, Rens completed various assignments, including support for Smit International's ERP system implementation. Rens began a career in finance at Robeco, working as an Administrator Officer from August 2006 to August 2008, and gained initial professional experience through internships at Center Parcs and Laanbroek Schoeman adviseurs. Rens holds a Bachelor of Economics degree in Financial Management from Hogeschool Rotterdam, obtained between 2002 and 2006.
